A BIG Congratulations to all our Ironman Arizona participants! You all did an incredible job on a very tough day! All finishers truly earned the title of "Ironman" on that day! I have been to 100's of triathlon events around the world and I can honestly say it was one of the toughest days I have ever seen. The course is not real scenic, which makes it tough mentally. Then the day brought brutal heat and wind conditions. The combination makes for a very tough day for everyone, even the spectators! Kain Performance Multi-Sport Team rocks the San Diego Coast at the Ironman 70.3 Triathlon in Oceanside

3/30/08 Oceanside, Calif.: The first race of the triathlon season was held here in Oceanside today under some pretty tough conditions.

The wind picked up much earlier today, which made the swim a bit choppy and the bike very hard with a headwind for the last 25 miles. Competitors were challenged to a 1.2 mile swim, a 56 mile bike and a 13.1 mile run. The swim was held in the 59 degree waters of Oceanside Harbor. Read more...
