Hawaii 70.3 (Kona, HI) - June 5, 2010 (1/2 Ironman Distance)

***We did this race as a KP Destination Race in 2007 and had a blast!! We
plan on making this the BIG KP TEAM travel destination of 2010. The race
is great, with a much lower key feel than its Big Brother, the Hawaiian
Ironman. Come for the race and stay for some fun in the sun along the Kona
Coast!! The Kain's know the Big Island well and know all the best spots
for snorkeling, swimming, body surfing and of course, wining and dining!
Join the fun in 2010 and get signed up for what will be the Main Event of
2010!! Sign up sooner, than later, as this event will sell out. Don't get
left out in 2010!! This race is a qualifier for the Hawaii Ironman.

*** Our good friend Brad Kearns has two events going on in Auburn in 2010.
He has consolidated his Sprint and Olympic Distance events into one
1k/30/8k Short Course race for those not wanting to do a full 1/2 Ironman
Distance event. These races will be great for anyone wanting a tune-up
before Honu, or those not able to make the Honu trip. The Auburn events
are two weeks after Wildflower and two weeks before Honu.

Reservoir Triathlon: April 18

***NEW EVENT - The Reservoir Triathlon will be held in and around the
pristine Uvas Reservoir. This is one of the best bodies of water available
to multisport activities in the Bay Area. The bike course is completely
closed to traffic and takes place on the rolling roads of Santa Clara
County and Morgan Hill. The run is on Uvas road and would be considered
flat to slightly rolling.

***For all those folks looking to stay close to home and race a classic
course, the San Jose International Triathlon is for you! This event is
right here in our backyard and is fast and flat! Great for a PR! This will
be the Main Event early in the season for our Olympic racers, with the
Auburn Short Course as a tune-up race.

The race we have WON the last two years will again be a major focus for
all of Kain Performance Multi-Sport!! We will wait and see if the event is
in Santa Cruz next year. Wherever it is, we will make that a BIG KP Team
Event of 2010!! More info will follow when we get the date and location of
the race.
Splash & Dash Race Series

The Splash and Dash Race series is an aquathon consisting of a 1.5km (.94
Mile) swim and a 5km (3.1 mile) run.
Kain Dirt! Ready to go off road??? We will pick a couple of the Xterra
Series races close to home as our inaugural Kain Dirt Destination Races!
The dates are not set yet, but there are Xterra Events in April/May in
Sacramento and Tahoe in June. We will shoot for the Xterra Nevada race in
late August as our Main Kain Dirt Destination. It is a classic course on
the Flume Trail! The swim is in Lake Tahoe and is spectacular!!
