Kain Performance holds meetings most months durring the season. We try to meet after a Thursday or Tuesday night workout at a local restaurant. Athlete of the Month

Both male and female

The person who is "representing" KP at events and at trainings. Shows up with a great attitude and gives it 100% at trainings and races. Does not have to be the fastest athlete out there, just one who represents well and is supportive of others on the KP Team. Attendance at training/practices has shown to be a big plus in receiving this award.

Kain Performance Athlete of the Month receives:

• A beautiful paper certificate with the "KP Athlete of the Month" proudly displayed. A must for any multi-sport athletes refrigerator!
• $50 Gift Certificate to Runner's Factory
• $50 off next KP monthly dues
• Shwaag from Powerbar and other sponsors
• Bragging rights for the month!

Hammerhead of the Month

Both male and female

The athlete who displays the "hammer" attitude at trainings and other events! They are not afraid to "Bring it!" Usually seen with a big grimace across the face! Again, does not have to be the fastest out there to be eligible for this award! Just willing to suffer a bit and show some true grit! What the

HammerHead of the Month receives:

• An incredible statue of a Styrofoam head with a hammer placed smack dab in the middle of the head! The "Trophy", so to speak. They get to keep this one of a kind gem for the entire month to proudly display. There is a female and male version of the "Hammer" award.
• Scwaag from KP Team sponsors.
• Bragging rights for the month of course!

Performance of the Month

One only, can be male, or female.

The KP athlete who has an outstanding performance at a race, or other event worthy of the prestigious award. The athlete could place in their age group, qualify for another big race, or simply have a stellar personal performance and set a PR! (personal record)

What the Performance of the Month receives:

• Schwag from the KP sponsors
• Bragging rights for the month
• Beautiful certificate of accomplishment worthy of a frame and mounted on the wall for all to see!

Most Improved

One only, can be male, or female.

• The athlete who shows incredible improvement from all the training. The athlete who drops their Personal Record (PR) in either swim/bike, or run events are likely candidates for this award.

The KP Most Improved Athlete receives:

• A certificate with KP Most Improved Athlete displayed on it. Very nice for anyone looking to impress the neighbors.
• Shwaag from KP Team sponsors.
• huge pat on the back from all his/her KP Teammates.

Yearly Awards

Each of the above mentioned awards are also awarded yearly at our season wrap up party which is held in November.
