It's All about Bridgit!
June 11- Uvas Reservoir- Morgan Hill, CA
"NewsFlash" for those of you who haven't heard that your KP Teammate, Bridgit Potts, took Top Honors for women at the CaliMan 1/2 Ironman yesterday in Morgan Hill. Her smoking fast 4:54
was good enough for 14th overall!! Bridgit has been very strong at all KP Team workouts, so a great finish was no surprise! Congratulations Bridgit! Bring on Kona!
Also taking Top Honors at CaliMan was Sebe Zeisler, a KP'er we haven't seen at too many workouts this year, but a guy who can race with the best! Sebe came off the bike with one other guy, then ran his way to the overall win in 4:19! Way to go Sebe! Awesome Win!
Also racing very well at CaliMan were:
Lauren Trent - 2nd Overall women, 1st 40+ in 4:57!
Ahmed Hasim - 2nd in the 25-29 age group in a New PR of 4:55!
Aron Cooperman - 5th in the 25-29 in a New PR of 5:11!
Mike Grimm - 3rd in the 45-49 after doing the Saturday workout. Wow!
Nice job to all who raced and represented KP! Way to go!!!
Also racing over the weekend was Laura Home. Homie took 3rd Overall in the Mermaid All Women's Triathlon in Fremont, Ca. Way to go Homie!!!!
***One other KP'er racing was Jeff Houle. Jeff did his first ever Duathlon at the Du for Fun in Sacramento and finished 8th overall! Nice job Jeff! Are you hooked?
Great job to all who got out there and raced! The KainIron Team had one last hard training weekend, so now it is TAPER Time!!! They will toe the line in Couer d'Alene, Idaho on June 25th! Good Luck KainIron! Now rest up and get psyched!
