Who We Are, What We Do, and When we Do It

Kain Performance is entering its sixth season. Our athletic talent ranges from pros to age groupers. Some of our members have gone onto the USAT Nationals, and some are still dabling with mountain bike sprints.

The Workouts

Kain Performance holds weekly Coached Workouts covering swimming, biking and running. There are informal workouts and special events that are not held on a regular basis, so check with the coaches, or check the website for updates on dates and times. Training schedules are published & distributed on a monthly basis for regular monthly paid members.

Workouts are geared to the events the majority of the team is training for. There may be two workouts going on at a time. One group may be training for a long course event, while one group will be training for a short course event. Be ready! The workouts will be tough...but fun!

  • TUESDAY NIGHTS - 6:30PM
    Bike/Run Brick Workout – with trainers (Bike Trainer Guidelines)
    Los Gatos High School
    Note – switch to West Valley College in March (DST)
  • WEDNESDAY BIKE RIDE - 12:00 NOON
    "K1" Team Bike Ride (Advanced, Ride Guidelines)
    Meet at The Bicycle Outfitter back parking lot in Los Altos.
    Ride leaves by 12:04 sharp!
    Self-supported ride
  • THURSDAY TEMPO RUN – 12:00 NOON
    Meet at the JCC Parking Lot in Los Gatos, off Lark Ave.
    ALL LEVELS WELCOME!
  • THURSDAY EVENINGS at 6:30pm (BEGINS IN MARCH - DST)
    Running Economy - Focus on running form and drills, intervals included!
    West Valley College Track
    ALL LEVELS WELCOME and encouraged to attend.
  • FRIDAY BIKE RIDE - 12:00 NOON
    "K2/3" Team Bike ride (beginner/intermediate, Ride Guidelines)
    Meet at The Bicycle Outfitter back parking lot in Los Altos.
    Ride leaves by 12:05 sharp!

    Swim / Bike / Run Workout (Ride Guidelines)
